Phil Snow
Owner + Operator
Phil began his career in the carpentry field upon completing the carpentry course at the Community College in Lewisport in 1987. In the following years, he continued to complete his Red Seal in Carpentry. Throughout the process, he discovered his passion for custom cabinetry. After 23 years in the industry, he dreamt of having his own company and team. In 2010, Phil founded and started Elite Kitchens + Design. Over the course of his 30+ years in the industry, Phil has worked in various positions, including as a cabinet shop foreman for 19 years, before becoming a business owner himself. Since then, he has prided himself on the quality of his work and utilized the latest tools and technology. Phil believes in going above and beyond to ensure his customers are 100% satisfied.
Dawn-Marie Durdle
Office Manager + Interior Designer
Dawn-Marie completed a Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University in 2007 and a Bachelor of Education in 2008. After working in her field of studies for several years, she moved into a human resources position with a local company. Feeling that her creativity and attention to detail weren’t being utilized in these roles, she decided to pursue a career in design. In 2013 she began working as an office manager and designer for Elite Kitchens + Design. In early 2018, Dawn-Marie enrolled in a distance education program with The Interior Design Institute, where she has since completed her course and received her Diploma in Interior Design. Her knowledge, dedication, and professionalism ensure her customers receive the best possible experience from start to finish.
Christine Connolly
Designer
Born and raised in Torbay, Newfoundland, Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English from Memorial University. After working in marketing, she moved to Montreal to study Interior Design, honing her creative skills. She returned to Newfoundland in 2005 and has been active in the design and construction industry since. Christine joined Elite in 2021, with her work featured in magazines and winning awards. She has contributed to HGTV projects and prides herself on marrying function and fashion, tailoring designs to clients’ needs and working closely with them from consultation to completion.
Donna Spracklin
Receptionist + Office Assistant
Donna is the friendly face who greets you with a smile in our showroom. As your first point of contact in the design process, she will answer your questions and book your design consultation if needed. During the consultation, Donna gathers all the necessary information to create a unique design tailored to your space. Her pleasant demeanor ensures you feel welcome while discussing your renovation or new build. Ask Donna how we can help make your dream project a reality, and she will guide you through every step, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
